Daytrip to Bangkok Thailand

28 June 2013. Took an early flight out from KL International Airport.

MH784 enroute from KUL to BKK.

Brunch menu on board flight.

Earl Grey tea and the morning sun.

Delicious nasi lemak with sambal udang breakfast.

Clear blue sky, nice day to travel on board the B738.

Approaching mainland from the Gulf of Thailand. View of Pattaya beach on the right window.

View of Suvarnabhumi airport from the air as we fly pass the airport.

Aircraft making a turn for final approach to land on runway 19R.

Bangkok city skyline at the horizon, just before landing.

Landed and taxiing to terminal gate.

Inside a packed airport rail link train on the way to city center.

Arrived at the Phaya Thai Airport Rail Link station for transfer to BTS line transit.

Easy connectivity for access to the BTS transit station via a direct connecting bridge.

Strolling along the RAMA 1 road in downtown Bangkok.

Had lunch at Yana Restaurant inside this MBK Center.

Lunch. Tomyam, Mango Salad and Fish.

After the meal treat, another quick stroll along RAMA 1 and spent some time inside Siam Paragon mall to escape the afternoon heat.

Back on the BTS transit platform.

Caught the next available Airport Rail Link train service to Suvarnabhumi airport.

As the Bangkok rush hour traffic grows, we were already on our way to the airport.

The huge airlines check-in hall at the departure level of Suvarnabhumi airport.

Malaysia Airlines check-in counter located at row M.

View from the Observation Deck.

The B737-400 series as carrier type for this MH783 flight.

Taxiing to runway for take-off. Bye bye Bangkok.

The Dinner menu for BKK-KUL sector on MH783.

Green Curry chicken meal does not look so inviting but it was surprisingly delicious.

Seafood pasta.
Sunset.

Landed in KLIA about 2 hours later. It was already dark by then. End of trip.
